Orthodontic Office Visits
The main goal of our practice is to provide our patients with healthy, beautiful smiles and the self-confidence that they have always wanted. Our practice will customize your orthodontic treatment and work to make it a rewarding experience. Our doctors use modern technology and offer various treatment options to give you the customized care you deserve.
Every straight smile begins with an initial consultation!
Your first visit to our office will allow you the opportunity to meet our doctors and our orthodontic team. We offer initial consultations as early as 7:30AM and as late as 4:30PM. At this complimentary consultation, you will be able to learn about different types of orthodontic treatment and understand which option will address your specific needs. During your first visit to our practice, we will do all of the following:
- Review your new patient paperwork and evaluate your medical and dental history
- Conduct a comprehensive oral exam, with screening X-rays, to determine the benefits of treatment
- Assess your needs and create a customized treatment plan
- Discuss treatment fees, insurance benefits, and financing arrangements
What is the next step after the initial visit?
Once the initial consultation is completed, you are one step closer to achieving the healthy smile you always wanted! After the fist visit, we will work with you to schedule a time to have your new orthodontic appliance placed. For braces, this appointment typically takes about an hour. Our team will work to find a convenient time that fits into your schedule.
Scheduling future orthodontic appointments
Keeping up on regular orthodontic appointments is a crucial part of your treatment. The orthodontist will adjust your braces every four to eight weeks. Our practice offers appointments as early as 7:30AM and as late as 4PM for orthodontic adjustment of braces. Our staff will work with you to find a time that is convenient for you.
Visiting your general dentist while wearing orthodontic braces
We strongly encourage that our patients continue to visit their dentist regularly while wearing braces. With braces, food can sometimes get caught in places that your toothbrush has a hard time reaching. Bacteria build up often leads to cavities, gingivitis, and gum disease. Your general dentist and hygienist will work to keep your teeth clean and healthy while wearing orthodontic braces.
